They literally just had a free weekend. Can't make the game free to play because it has no microtransactions, they'd make no money.

I think the earn rate and cost is pretty fair, this is free content after all, no microtransactions. You can earn enough coin for a skin in no time, a bunch of games that you'd naturally play over a couple of days maybe.

These are just starting skins, need to give them time to bring out new ones, which is pushed back due to circumstances, and that they're working on bug fixes and the like before new content.

The last thing you want is them making more complex skins cost even more than these ones!

Eh, that's more because they broke matchmaking with the new update, so people have stopped playing until it's fixed.

Yeah it's a huge issue. Installed the update, tried playing with someone who's not in my region but we always have stable connections..simply won't search for us anymore. Went from great matchmaking to a broken one.

@D4m0R3d I'm fairly sure in a video, comment reply, or livestream, that they said ranked is/was not in their plans. This was before launch, during first or second beta.

They weren't making it to be a ranked game, it's not the focus.

allow us to chose what servers we are willing to connect to and display the ping, and region we are playing on.

That's more reasonable, letting you choose which servers you search, not the forcing us to play only Oceania servers.
I really love how it is now, whatever they're doing, I want to get into a match QUICK. Less than a minute wait is incredible.

If we're forced to play with only locals you know the playerbase is low so we will be waiting an hour or more for a match. No one's going to wait that long, they'll leave the game completely. More than a five minute wait and people will leave the game forever.

Happened to Gears 5, it's how they matchmake and you can never find a game in Australia, even a month after release, when timed events happen, or when new content drops. I'd hate to wait any longer than we do now for games in Bleeding Edge.

No issues here, Xbox and Aussie. Been playing since the game went live and it hasn't taken longer than 30 seconds to find a match, solo or with a party.

Yeah OMIG RG, exactly the same for me. Either I get in a game and it works great whole way through, or I get booted from a match before it starts. Frustrating when you're getting booted more than games working.

2 is a bit of a waste, look at how it's handled in Gears 5 with blood spray and how the community thinks the devs waste their time with it.
No one stays around long enough to look at what's on the ground or you'll end up dead. Only recently with the FFA (free for all) mode does it show in the middle of your screen when you are killed, but then people only use insulting ones. Wouldn't fit this game.

You explained yourself why 3 is what's needed. 3 leaves you wanting just one more to be complete, 4 would easily allow players to create OP combos and would get exploited.
If it were a single player game you could let people be as powerful as they like, not for multiplayer.

I dread getting this map, mostly because of the terrible spawn camping. Once a team is camping where you land after spawn, there's almost no way to recover or even get out of there.

The whole jumping over to the map from spawn is a bad idea, allowing the other team to wait for you on the other side.
Even if that area was made protected, it's so close to the middle point (B) that the opposing team can simply wait there for you at every direction, whether you go mid, left or right.

I'm sure you've experienced frustrations with this map if you've been on the losing side. Even when I'm winning I stay away from the other team's spawn but maybe I'm too nice, since seems like a lot of players don't play the same.
