@AmazingVector yea it’s a very high curve with the parry system and it’s just to inconsistent when you may need it the most. That’s why I suggested the block system with a damage limit and the number layer gets stunned

Replace parry system with Block limit!!!!
Hi Ninja Theory you should really replace the parry system and implement a block function instead. I know you have the dash system which is very useful but I know you should add a block function with a Block limit bar that goes down while taking damage and if the player is still blocking when the function reaches its limit then the player gets stunned for a 1 second or 1.5 seconds that opens them up for more damage. There was another idea I read that goes along with this, air combos but for the player being hit have some type of combos breaker function to get out of the combo and the function regenerates of time after being used. These functions should really be considered because it gives the game more in depth defense core aspects and allows the player alittle more defensive options besides just dash. This makes the player really feel like they can defend themselves in a fight for a short amount of time, when nobody uses parry because it’s to difficult to pull off and it slows the game down because the player can’t move to perform it.

@KylOcatOr I just made a post so damn similar to your about having more in depth combos in the game instead of the same “xxxx” basic attack. I even referenced dmc as well lol but I agree with everything you said along with I just wrote on my post today. Comment on it if you get a chance
Game needs advanced combos added!!!!
Hi guys bleeding edge is a great game I’m enjoying the beta. I wanted to ask you guys a important question. Will you guys be adding advanced combos to the game besides just the basic attack combo list for each character? I know this would be a even better game with advanced combos you could perform from the basic combo list, I was thinking a mixture of light and heavy attack combos being “x” is light a “y” is heavy. I only say this because dmc has a great mixture of advanced light and heavy attack combo tree that the player can perform and I know this would be great a great addition to this game if it was added before the main release in March or in the future. everything else is fine to me with the cool down abilities but the basic attack list needs to be more in depth, Than the player just pressing “xxxx” to attack and we can do any other combos besides that one. You guys made Dmc and it would be good to see some more in depth basic and advanced attacks that your company is known for in the game. Thanks for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.
